It’s Pride Weekend in London and we couldn’t be more excited! With an array of exciting events happening, including a parade, it’s sure going to be one of the best weekends! The sun will be shining and your favourite divas will be playing - there sure will be enough choice of things to do, but what you do? Well, we’ve got you covered! Here are some of our favourite things happening this weekend:

What: Zeal: The Pride Improv Festival

Where: The Cavendish Arms

When: 5^th-7^thJuly 2018

What better way to celebrate Pride than attending the most theatrical and multi-talented show in London. From improvised musicals to fabulous drag acts, the event allows you to enjoy the entertainment whilst soaking up the scorching sun in their outdoor seating area. The show is running from Thursday 5^thJuly to Saturday 7^th, tickets are from £5, it’s a nobrainer!

What: Grindr: The Opera!

Where: Above The Stag Theatre

Still looking for your ying to your yang? Love opera and extravigant live performances? Well, Grindr have given you a summer full of shows dedicated to bringing a humorous and daring shift upon gay dating and relationships. This event is a great way to enjoy music and get your flirt on this weekend.

What: Sink The Pink does Pride – The Colour Ball

Where: O2 Academy Brixton

When: Saturday 7^th July 2018

Sink the Pink are hosting THE event this weekend. Think all thing FABULOUS, sink into the world of flamboyance and celebrate with the community, filled with glitz and kitsch. The event will be full of love and joy – with drag queen lip-sync batters, the best pop DJ’s and just a room full of extravagance. Our very own Smith & Sinclair model, Glyn Fussell is at the heart of The Colour Ball and we hope you’ll be joining him in all the fun.

Where: Start at Portland Place – finish at Trafalgar Square.

A London Pride ritual! Join the thousands of LGBTQ+ community members celebrating everything Pride. Pride London are giving you a parade that you’ll never forget, passing through Oxford Circus, along Regent Street, Pall Mall and then celebrating BIG in Trafalgar Square. To get into spirit why not pass through the pop-up shop in Soho to glitz n’ glam up with the official Pride Matters merchandise.

And to top things off, we thought we’d bring you a special Smith & Sinclair Pride Cocktail!

Ingredients/Measurements per serve

Vodka 15ml

Orange Liqueur 15ml

Elderflower Liqueur 15ml

Aperol 15ml

Lime Juice 15ml

Sugar Syrup 15ml

Egg white

Finishing Touches

Prosecco 15ml

Directions

1. Add all main ingredients into a cocktail shaker

2. Top up with Ice

3. Seal the shaker and shake for 10-15 seconds

4. Pour through sieve into a chilled coupe glass

5. Top up with Prosecco
