THINGS TO DO THIS MAY
With the start of a new month, there's loads of exciting new things happening. We almost can't believe that summer is just round the corner and all of our favourite pop-ups are... popping up.
Below we've listed a few of our favourite things to do this May.
London Wine Week
Location: London
Date: 13th - 19th May
Tickets: £0.00 - £6.00
If it contains alcohol, we are in. London Wine Week has returned, with the hub situated in Flat Iron Square. You can taste wine trios for £6.00 in some of London’s top bars, allowing you to create your own mini wine tour across the city. You can sign up for free to get a London Wine Week digital pass which entitles you to unique wine and food pairing offers, free, unlimited access to the hub and wine tastings curated by sommeliers. There will be everything from pop-up wine bars, al fresco parties to decadent dinners and tutored tastings.
Eurovision
Location: London
Date: 18th May
Tickets: N/A
We understand that Eurovision isn’t for everyone, however if nothing else, at least we can enjoy the unbelievable amount of awkwardness we can expect competing with our fellow European countries this year. The UK’s entry this year is Michael Rice, and there are numerous bars in London hosting Eurovision parties this year to get into the patriotic spirit such as Six Storeys Soho, The Nordic Bar in Fitzrovia, She Soho and many more. At least you will have a drink in your hand when nobody votes for us.
The Great Hampstead Bark Off
Location: Somerset House
Date: 5th May
Tickets: Free
Yes, a dog themed bark sale. Roll up, roll up. Hampstead is showcasing a dog show with prizes awarded in categories such as ‘cutest pup’, ‘golden oldies’ and ‘best rescue’. It is held in support of All Dogs Matter and is a perfect chance to meet some lovely dogs in need of new home. If you have a pooch to enter into the competition, you can email info@alldogsmatter.co.ukto book a place for £5.00.
Tender Touches
Location: AMP Gallery, Peckham

Tender Touches is right up our street, encouraging you to eat the artwork in their ‘art café’. Everything from the food to the furniture is a piece of art, focusing on the theme of sustainable food practices. It will also host a series of talks, supper clubs and performances, taking place among new commissions by a group of international emerging artists such as Ines Neto dos Santos.
